Ashburn European Service Center

Testimonials

The only shop I trust! I've been taking our cars to Glen & Helen for as long as I can remember...in fact, back when the shop was in its current location and run by his Dad, Sven. I have taken Saabs, VWs, and assorted Japanese cars there. I always get top notch service from Phil and all the mechanics working there. I've seen the business grow and expand, but the service is always the same-the best. While they will work tirelessly to solve a problem, or easily perform routine maintenance, it is the extra things that make the difference: a ride to work when it's needed, fixing something minor "while they were at it", providing cost-effective advice to save me money or avoid unnecessary repairs, or substitute another part for the OEM one because it works better. I've had Glen and his team go behind other mechanics, private and dealers, that couldn't solve problems (like when we bought a replacement/used motor for our SUV) and search for a used tranny for my son's car because it was the best value solution for us. I've even had them bend over backwards for me to help me get something fixed by the dealer, before the warranty ran out. The "service" in their name is for real - they want to get you back on the road more importantly than they want to take your money. The "European" is not a limit to what they can and will do. They are the only place we go for our non-warranty repairs, big or small, for our entire family's cars. It's the only place you should go, too.

I've been going to Ashburn European Service Center with my BMW ever since my standard warranty expired. Glen and his staff have always gone out of their way to ensure my car was taken care of. They go above and beyond the expected service. Whether its preventative or corrective maintenance, they get it right. Whether its a oil change or replacing a head light, I always go there. As a veteran, I always like to support veteran owned services!

We have been taking our SAABs, Volvos and VWs to Ashburn European for the past 15 years or so. I wouldn't trust any other mechanic the way I trust Glen, Helen, their father Sven and their excellent staff. They care about their customers' safety, perform flawless work, anticipate my needs ("Hey Mike, I went ahead and got your car's annual state safety inspection done for you -- it was due."), provide free wi-fi while I wait, and arrange their schedules to meet my needs. I don't know what else I could ask for in a service shop. They warranty all their work, and their prices are excellent, especially when compared to a dealer. Five Stars, AAA+, go there once and you'll never take your car anywhere else.

First, I own a 97 Toyota FJ Cruiser not a Fancy Euro Car. I have been using the shop for a couple of years and here is what I have found: Glen and his Staff are the Best because: 1) They actually care about you car over the long run. They have always alerted me to issues that will need to be dealt with so I can plan not react. 2) Quality of the work performed is superior to the run of the mill , pump it out and move on shops common in the area. 3) Knowledge: Grade A+,enough said 4) Honesty and Integrity: 35 years in business, enough said 5) Flexible: They work with you to fit your schedule not theirs. I could go on and on in great detail but I will conclude with Give this shop a chance they will exceed your expectations which is hard to find in this area from any type of service business.

I have taken 2 BMWs to Ashburn European Service for pre-purchase inspections and have been very pleased each time. Glen and his mechanics are very thorough with these inspections. The first car they strongly advised me not to buy it (serious issues from 2 accidents). I followed their advice. I found another car and took it there. This time it checked out great. This car is a convertible and also had a relatively rare option of a removable hard top. There were no instructions and it wasn't clear to anyone how to remove it. Glen spent a significant amount of time researching to find the answer and ended up calling a local BMW dealer who faxed the instructions. Glen even took the time to walk me through the removal and replacement of the hard top so I could experience it for myself and could do it later without worry. Glen, Helen and the mechanics are all top-notch. They are honest friendly, customer-oriented, and have great pricing compared to the dealerships. I am happily driving my BMW and am very confident in my purchase after getting the pre-purchase inspection done there. I will be returning for routine maintenance and repairs for all of my future car service needs.
